Understanding Our Class Policies

Creative Canvas has established clear class policies to ensure a productive and respectful environment for all students. These policies cover attendance, behavior, use of studio equipment, and safety guidelines. Attendance is taken at the start of each session. Students arriving more than 15 minutes late may not be admitted to avoid disruption. All participants are expected to follow the studio's code of conduct, which emphasizes mutual respect and care for shared tools and materials. Policies regarding the use of clay, glazes, and kilns are detailed in orientation materials. We recommend reviewing the full policy document available at the front desk or on our website before your first class.

Materials and Supplies

Creative Canvas provides a range of basic materials for each class, including paper, pencils, paints, brushes, clay, and glazes for ceramics. Students are welcome to bring their own preferred tools, provided they meet studio safety standards. A detailed materials list for each course is available during enrollment. For specialized techniques, such as wheel-throwing or oil painting, additional supplies may be recommended but not required. Our studio maintains a shared inventory of communal equipment, such as easels, pottery wheels, and kilns, which are included in the course fee.
